| LOL! I am just loving these little dialogues. So they are about ten or eleven now, eh? (I'm guessing from Tolman's birthdate, depending on what time of year different birthdays are...) Author Reply: Thanks! Yes, you're about right, I think. This is set some months before Sam and Rosie leave for Gondor, just as the planning is getting started. At present I'm following the timeline laid out in At the End of His Rope. (Though there are other stories to explore, like what happened following the misunderstanding in Comedy of Merrys...
