| Wow. I'm not sure I can fully express in words how much I admire and enjoyed this story. Your description of Legolas' illness and the cost to Gimli of looking after him is incredibly powerful, and the depth of emotion your portray in their feelings is equally affecting. I love the humour you inject towards the end, and the epilogue is a lovely touch. Thank you for sharing your picture of how Legolas and Gimli came to leave Middle Earth together. You write with such vivid detail and consummate skill as to present the scenes in living colour in the mind of the reader. A truly great tale that will stay with me for a long time. | |
