| I can certainly empathise with Frodo here, both in terms of morning reluctance and love of bacon and mushroom omelette! (Just finished a bacon and tomato omelette, as a matter of fact.) Again, a great gapfiller that could fit the original as well as an AU version. While I'm not thinking of the book at the moment, I can hear the movie Frodo saying, "Bilbo's Ring..." in the scene with Gandalf after the Birthday Party, showing he knew what it was and it wasn't a secret from him.
