It seems very like Aragorn to view his own sacrifices as much less than those endured by others. And it seems reasonable that he might be plagued with the occasional nightmare--how could you not, after enduring the horrors of war? Thank goodness for Arwen's comfort and love. Very nicely done. |

He has sacrificed a good deal of his personal freedom and autonomy as well. He has lost many during the long years of his life. He has reason to rejoice, but reason also to be grateful for so many who gave so much that he might lead them well. |
