| I especially liked this one; for the realistic treatment of the very young Eowyn and her brother and the glimpse of Theodred, who comes across just as I would imagine a wise young prince of the House of Eorl. |

Aww...wee Eowyn learning to ride, big brother Eomer being all protective, and wise older cousin Theodred being practical and firm. This was delightful!
(I am very fond of wise older cousins in fic; it's a shame we lost Theodred before we got to see more of him.) |
