A most unfortunate time to know a vision, most assuredly! At least their different hopes for the future do not divide them. Author Reply: Many thanks for reviewing. I think it was wonderful that 2 such different brothers were so close.

This is a marvelous conversation between the brothers. Both the love between them in life, yet the gulf between them in spirit, ring very true. "A humble servant" indeed, who never forgot what being a "Steward" truly meant. I really enjoyed reading this. Thank you for the lovely birthday mathom. :) Author Reply: Thank you so much, I'm delighted you enjoyed one of my rare attempts to write Boromir.I specially wanted to publish something on my birthday, though it is not new, but a polished BTME story.

Oh! What an interesting exchange between Faramir and Boromir! I do wonder what Boromir would have said had he lived to see Aragorn heal his brother and the White Tree bloom again... I think Faramir was quite right here, and poor Boromir is rather deluded. I shall recommend this story to my friend Susana, who is quite the Faramir fan (actually I shall recommend ALL your stories to her, but I've been helping her with a Thorongil-is-Faramir's-father AU where Boromir happens to find out, and his reactions there remind me of your Boromir here. I am sure she'd love this one!) And of course *I* am always a fan of your Faramir! *much love for Faramir, and Boromir too, deluded or not* Happy birthday, dearest Linda, and may you have many more. :) Kaylee Author Reply: Thank you so much, my friends' greetings mean a great deal to me. I'm pleased you enjoyed this story.I sometimes read and enjoy Susana's Aragorn and Faramir stories.I don't usually like the idea of Faramir as Aragorn's biological son, but Susana manages to write it without in any way blackening Aragorn's character. I'm delighted that you enjoy my Faramir.
