Good reason to start the day at the edge of the sea! May their hearts ever be so joyful! And I will have to check out sage to use with some of my older clients!

I never thought that Finduilas' unhappiness might have been because of a latent, ancient 'sea longing' in her blood. I always learn something new from these stories! There were few tidings of comfort and joy during those dark hours, but that was one of them. I had not only gained in you, a son of my heart, but your acceptance of my claim brought me closer to wedding my beloved. What a marvelous moment that was, for both of them. Another peaceful, satisfying tale, my friend. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I thought to revise this story while my own trip to the sea was fresh in my mind.I love revisiting the moment when Aragorn and Faramir first met and am delighted that you enjoyed this story. Tolkien says of Finduilas, "But it seemed to men that she withered in the guarded city, as a flower of the seaward vales set upon a barren rock. The shadow in the east filled her with horror, and she turned her eyes ever south to the sea that she missed."
