he patted the Red Book. 'Good night, Mr Frodo,' he said softly. 'One of these mornings I'll be seeing you.' I love it! Another sweet, loving thing to say. He's ready to leave but I'm glad he's spending some time here too with his family. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Yes, he's very much looking forward to seeing his Mr. Frodo. I think it's some consolation for losing his Rose. And of course he'll be seeing her again one day.

I suspect Sam is about to go to the Grey Havens and finding the choice harder than he thought. Author Reply: I suspect you have the right of it! Author Reply: p.s. Welcome, Tim the Enchanter, I don't think I've seen you before. Are you the Tim I know IRL?

whew. At least Ferdi is begininning to recover. I liked him "Counting" on Frodo...that is a silly phrase, come to think of it. Ah, back to the Red Book. So you *were* reading from it all along, which answers my other question. So I was right! Estella is still "Twig." Very good. Kudos to you for such a well pur-together story.
