Oh my! It is amazing how perfectly well this fits into the context, although Primula is totally changed. I'm glad though, that in truth she and Drogo were not like that. Just imagine how a child of theirs would have been like! Author Reply: Well, we were supposed to write in such a way we go against preconceptions, either or own or those generally held within the fandom. I, too, prefer to think Drogo and Primula were quite different from this, and I agree about the chances their child would have been quite different!

That might be one reason why Lobelia was so mean, but it's hard to think that Primula might have provoked her. Author Reply: I agree, which is why this is in my AU collection! Heh! But when I was asked to write a story in which I wrote against my own beliefs on Tolkien's characters, then this is what came out. Thanks so, Tari.

Somehow I almost like the idea of poor Lobelia being unjustly accused. Almost... Author Reply: Almost, eh? Heh! But if we were to turn fanon on its head, why not see Lobelia and Primula both in a different light, right? Thanks so!

Hm, not too sure I like this version of Primula, she sounds almost as bad as Lobelia really was! Lynda Author Reply: I agree, Lynda. But the challenge was to reexamine our own perceptions of the story and its characters, and so this idea presented itself. Thanks so!

My Goodness! What a turn up for the books! Author Reply: Isn't it, though? Heh! But it was fun to write, even if I can't quite bring myself to add this to my own head-canon.

Oh, my. You leave me speechless. Yikes. Author Reply: Well, we were to re-examine our own head-canon as well as general fanon, so this was the idea that presented itself. It was fun to write.
