| Again, a worthy gift from one of great worth to another, and a further blessing not only upon the Steward of Gondor, but upon Gondor itself, in which both Numenor and the Wood are now represented. | Oh, that was lovely and unexpected! Faramir sounds very much in character, and his humility, as you show, does him credit. When Elessar beheld the mallorn, I was sadly reminded of the quote that I think was set when he left Lothlorien, "and came there never again as a living man." I could be wrong, though. My copy of LOTR has been packed away in a box and I haven't been able to find it yet. Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm pleased you liked my portrayal of Faramir. You are spot on with the quote.
