A beautiful story, Shirebound. I love to find another story of yours. I've always thought that the connection between Frodo and his loved ones would be like that, no matter how many miles separate them. How lovely to bring in Goldberry - I've often wondered about her and her origins. Also interesting that water is so often seen as sacred. We have rivers and pools in Britain which are still seen as holy places, and this has been so for thousands of years. No to mention that water was believed to be a gateway between worlds. Author Reply: Thank you, my friend. Middle-earth represents such magic and potential, and it's wonderful to feel that our world has the same possibilities. I'd love to visit Britain someday.

What a sweet, wonderful story! I am glad Frodo received such a loving blessing when the pain of separation was still so fresh. I add my own thanks to Goldberry and her sister. Indeed there is no separation between those who are joined at the heart. We also know his dreams are visions and more real than ordinary dreams so that is another connection to home that he can share in. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: I'm very happy you enjoyed this. I know you share my delight whenever Frodo is shown love and respect, and also new paths to growth and healing.

Beautifully written, Shirebound. A lovely way to wake up on a summer's day. Author Reply: Thank you so much. I re-wrote this many times until it 'felt' just right.

“Waters of Arda,” she murmured, “let the healing begin.” Wow! I did not know how to describe it, but it is like Lindelea said: It reads like poetry! I especially like the idea that the Waters of Arda link all places and all people, so that they can always be together where-ever they are. Author Reply: I'm so happy you like this, Andrea. *beams and bounces* I love the line in The Silmarillion where Ulmo says, "Water is become now fairer than my heart imagined, neither had my secret thought conceived the snowflake, nor in all my music was contained the falling of the rain." There's something special about water in the Professor's world.

Beautifully done. This reads like poetry, which, when I think on it, would be appropriate for the River Daughter and her sister. Author Reply: Thank you, I appreciate that. I see them both as very special and insightful beings.

How sweet this offering of healing, as he finds a direct tie to Goldberry, and thus to Middle Earth. I am glad her sister chose to come to Frodo's healing. Lovely imagery here! Author Reply: Thank you. There's still so much to be imagined about Goldberry's 'back story' as well as her life and future. It's such a joy to imagine her remembering Frodo in this way. They certainly seemed to have an instant bond.
