I am so behind on reading all of your fanfics that you've written over the last few years, but I'm so very glad I started catching up with this one. :-) I really like your characterization of Gandalf, and of Denethor and Boromir (your succinct definition of his character was masterfully done through his question about whether he could ascend to the White Throne one day), and of course, Faramir. I particularly liked Gandalf's comparing Faramir to his grandfather, Ecthelion. I can't promise to be a regular reviewer (I have either time to read or time to review, and very rarely time to do both), but please know that this reader is glad to have re-discovered your works. Author Reply: Many thanks for for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you liked this story as I rarely write Gandalf. I'm delighted you are reading my stories. | |

And in the end those two who were best suited to complement one another were those who jointly saw to the rule of Gondor and the rebuilding of the ancient empire. Excellent!
