I find I rather like young Kirilien: here's hoping we hear more of her story at some point ;-) Author Reply: It is always possible I shall do exactly that one day. I have always suspected that Frodo enjoyed being with young people, and that he'd be intrigued by children such as Kirilien or his proposed young cousin, Cyclamen Proudfoot.

This was really nice. It was an interesting look at some of the behind-the-scenes events at court. Author Reply: I like poking about the edges of life within the Citadel at times, after all! Heh! Thank you so, Garnet.

Anytime I can see Faramir is good. :) I love his first words to the young girl and of course love Sam's. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Well, there is ample reason why Faramir is one of the most popular characters in the whole epic, after all. And I think he would greet such visitors to the Citadel as Kirilien graciously. Thanks so, Antane!

Such a pleasant conversation (and respite) for all three of them. And this line truly highlights Faramir's 'quality'... That gown is indeed a work of art without being too blatant about its intent, and indicates that you shall be even more beautiful as you mature into a woman indeed. Author Reply: Oh, yes, Faramir is ever a man of true quality, I believe, offering sincere compliments to such as Kirilien even as he finds diplomatic ways of correcting misunderstandings in the minds of his father's and Aragorn's counselors. Thanks so much, Shirebound!
