| Oh, I love seeing Galion here as well as Oropher. And the thought of losing their home twice saddens but does not surprise me. Author Reply: They did have a harsh fate, for sure, but they managed to build themselves a good life nonetheless, and that all on their own. I think that deserves respect. | |

| An interesting take on elven history. I like the idea of Kôr being the original stronghold at Amon Lanc which later became Dol Guldur. And it is ironic that Oropher's House lost their ancient homeland twice, but his son, Thranduil, did well enough in the end. Author Reply: The Elvenking was my second love (Elrond being then first) and I alwys thought that he rocked, facing Dol Guldur by ordinary means, without the help of any magic trinkets. That must have been tough. Which is why I loved the respect shown to him in EA 3 so much. | |
