| I think that poem was good actually. And it was fun to write The Archives Incident too. | It's obvious that scanning is not her strong suit! Heh! I am glad she was able to come to love someone else who returned her interest, and that she has suitable employment now. But how like a little brother to do such a thing! Heh! As for Sam's confession-- HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! Author Reply: No, it's not. Perhaps she might do well writing Ogden Nash-style parodies. I knew she'd have eventually married to someone of "suitable" lineage. Yet for all the feudal style societies Tolkien imitated, he eschewed having arranged marriages in his world. So I picture high-born mothers arranging introductions to suitable young people and hoping for the best. Clearly Ivriniel came to love her young lord from Ethring. Little brothers always know the right buttons to push. And after Pippin's little confession, I myself was surprised to hear Sam chiming in with his own bit of sibling-torture. Still, he was a lad with older sisters, so I'm sure that's not the only occasion he teased Daisy or May! | |

| LOLOL! And the perfect ending... Merry and Frodo exchanged a glance. "I can see," said Merry, "that having no sisters has left a gap in our educations." Frodo nodded. Every time he thought he knew all about his cousins and Sam, he found out something new. Author Reply: Yep. It had to come back to the hobbits, after all. It always does. ;-) I figured that Sam and Pippin could identify with young Imrahil! Merry and Frodo do have a bit of a gap in their education, don't they? | |

That would be too embarrassing for words. LOL! Little does she know that he already does!! =) Author Reply: Exactly! And for Imrahil's sake, I hope she never does. But I think the hobbits and Menelcar and the other members of the Fellowship will be discreet! And Faramir would certainly never say anything! | |
