| Wonderful! I adore this series. You write with such care, and in the exact way I imagine he felt about Estel. I've always wished there was more Glorfindel and Estel fic in general, to the point where my subconscious got in on it. I once had a dream that Glorfindel was badly wounded while out with a very young Estel. And Estel, having seen his father use athelas in the past, figured he could try it. Untrained and small, he nearly killed himself healing Glorfindel but it nevertheless impressed/horrified the few who knew him to have "the hands of a king." Sounds like a fanfic -- I searched around for years because I figured I *had* read it, but, nope! Anyway, looking forward to reading more! Author Reply: Thank you! I'm so glad you are enjoying it! And that DOES sound like a great idea for a fanfic! :) I'm actually working on the opposite, where very young Estel gets hurt while the two are out on an outing and has to deal with the guilt of letting the boy come to harm.
