| I like Mistress Beryl, she's a great healer! And I also like the inventiveness of the two cooks who solved the transport problem. So, now there's a letter to write... Author Reply: I have a fondness for hobbit healers. I was trying to think what sort of thing might serve as a makeshift "gurney" for the hobbits to use on such a large patient, and a large worktable on wheels seemed just the ticket. Who better than cooks to suggest it? Yes, and the letter will be coming very soon... | |
