I had always assumed that Aragorn and Faramir had pre-planned Faramir's surrender of his office and Aragorn's refusal to accept it, but your solution is more elegant. And I like the idea of the two rods. The simple one, steeped in history, is so well suited to Faramir. Great chapter! |

Ah! The perfect solution to the need--the original rod returned to the proper heir to the throne and Winged Crown. Yes, I can see this, although I was a bit disappointed that Hurin did not help in the search! Heh! |
