| A new chapter, and so soon, hooray! I'm looking forward to reading about the reunion of Boromir and Merry and to learn if the Druedain still come into the story. But I have a feeling you're going to leave us in the dark for a chapter or two, and return to Minas Tirith in the next one. I have a question though: why do you keep calling Minas Tirith Mundberg instead of Mundburg that JRRT uses? My memory of Old English is very feeble, but isn't 'berg' used for mountains like the Dwimmorberg, and 'burg' for fortresses like Aldburg? I could be wrong, but I'm wondering. Author Reply: Ah, thank you so much for calling my attention to that misspelling of Mundburg! You are right, it should be "burg." It was just me spelling it wrong to start with and then being consistent in my error. I shall go back and fix that for sure. I'm still working out how to proceed in the coming chapters, but I'm hoping the Druedain will come into it, also! :-) | |
