Oh, I'm sure Aragorn's going to regret those last words... Insanely funny. *shakes head* Oh, those hobbits... *giggles* Thanks for sharing! =)

lol! that was great! I don't know that elves would have really enjoyed the brew they were creating! In all of your stories Merry seems to get into a lot of toruble and drag others in with him! It sure makes for an interesting stay in Rivendell! I liked it lots! Thank you!

Such a wonderfully good time! The image in my mind of Elrond threatening "Drastic measures" was priceless, and in the back of my mind thinking that he's messing with their heads and finding out that he was indeed. A wonderfully fun story! Pearl Took

I wanted to be there to see Elrond hiss and say 'drastic ones'! LOL! Goofy hobbits and elven discipline leave a smile on my face. :-)

Oh my word, they're brewing moonshine. Actually, that's a name that should attract elves. But homemade stills are fairly unstable things, as you show. This was very entertaining. I'm sorry I didn't get to see the elves tasting the brew.

Wheeee! Not only a sequel to "Intruder", which I ADORE, but such a delightful, wonderful one! "To Pippin’s annoyance, Merry and Sam exchanged a wry grin that smacked of superior adult knowledge." “Drastic ones,” he hissed... Whooot! I love this, Budgie! Any stray sequels you want to write are most eagerly encouraged! May I bribe you with something? A bit of... no, the still blew up... well, I'll think of something.

I am amazed at the sheer number of different scenarios where the Hobbits get into trouble inside of Rivendell that you can think of. Trying to produce the Gaffer's home brew in a fireplace! But Elrond and Aragorn aren't too bad either. Though Aragorn's attempts at bribery pale in comparison to Elrond's blackmail. Hehe, drastic measures, hehe. I cannot blame Aragorn for collapsing against the door of his father's study, since I am still grinning myself. Wonderful story for a dull Sunday afternoon in November ...

They blew up their bedroom? Surely, not even Elladan and Elrohir ever managed that! (Oh, look, is that a plot bunny?) A lovely tale, and Elrond was wonderful at the end. And after all, what could four hobbits possibly get up to? Jay

I find myself wanting to know exactly what the Gaffer's home brew tastes like. I suppose that Pippin is not the only one that is curious. The discriptions are wonderful and for some reason, I think I need to make custard. Thank you for a good laugh and for making me hungry at 3:14 in the morning!
