| Gilraen has still much to learn in living with elves. Her acting is infantile and embarassing. She´s the wife of a chieftain and the mother of a future king. I had expected more of her. I´m sure Arathorn had not approved of her accusations. I can understand her worry but this was an accident and if her son had heeded Glorfindel´s warning nothing had happened. I do so love your stories and writing. So much depth at showing emotions. I´m eager to read on and see how poor Estel will be healed. Erestor is the only one with a clear head right now. | I'm really enjoying this story! There's so much psychological depth and realism to this chapter. As I was reading I wanted to shake all the characters and say, "It was just an accident!!" ... but I know full well that if I were involved in any way with something like that, I would be blaming myself too. It was quite a relief to see Erestor on the case. Elrond is lucky to have such a shrewd and compassionate friend pulling strings behind the scenes. Thanks for sharing your work. | Hooray, Erestor to the rescue!! Whew, very emotional chapter Nieriel. Everybody on the page is hurting. Can't wait to see what happens next. | At least one person is able to look beyond personal feelings of guilt and fear to see that this WAS an accident and that the others all need to lay aside the guilt and the fear to deal with what is needed now.
