Enjoying the tension and danger here, and especially the portrayal of Faramir's strength and sheer grit.

Arrh such an evil cliffhanger ! But I guess a chapter needs to end somewhere! I admire your Faramirs stubborness, strong will and deep care of Legolas.May it be enough sweet Elbereth as the characters would say.😄 I can picture their flight before me, so wellwritten and mystic. Wowza, Excellent, excellent chapter PSW Faramir clapped the Elf briefly on the shoulder before moving to turn away. “Let us not beg trouble before it forces itself upon us.” Legolas scowled at the contact, but Faramir shook his head. “Legolas. I do not fear you.” The blond brows drew together. This time it was Legolas who gripped his arm, the slender fingers digging into skin and muscle. “Faramir. You should.” LOL I don't know whether to cheer for Faramir or cry for Legolas!! so many emotions shining through, fear, hope, despair the two characters. Can't wait for next chapter mellon-nin Author Reply: Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it, and I very much appreciate your comments... :-)

I agree that there would indeed be some physical manifestations of this struggle for mastery of the body, and I certainly hope Aragorn's power of healing will perhaps help both Legolas and the houseless spirit to each find its own proper way. At least Faramir is not allowing Legolas to merely give in to the invader, which is a good thing, I'd think. Author Reply: Thanks for reading and commenting!

he believed in his King as he did in no other—and it seemed that Legolas felt the same. And so do we! Whew, they're balancing on a razor's edge, and no one there to greet them will know it. What a suspenseful story. Author Reply: Thanks for reading, and for your comments! :-)
