| Budgie 'Gandalf shook his grey head. “No. Frodo will worry himself into a state, you see. Sam will worry that Frodo worries. Merry and Pippin will be unhappy because Frodo and Sam are worried.' You have such a lovely 'take' on the Hobbits and the passage above really sums it up. And Frodo wanting to send Pippin and Merry home to protect them and realising that he can't!!!! | I am glad that Pippin has not lost his other senses as well, especially not his sense of smell, nor has he lost his appetite as it seems. And the rest of Imladris' inhabitants seem to adapt quite well to the Hobbits' presence. Now if only Pippin regained his sight and his fellow Hobbits recovered from the riding experience ... | |

| I loved how Pippin recognized Gandalf by the smell! How sweet that the first thing he did was thank Gandalf for his firework! Pippin can't be exactly quiet and I'm gald he was able to laugh even with everything that is going on! lol, that Pippin wouldn't cooperate until he had eaten, so hobbity! I liked that so many people were there to see him too. That is wonderful! Looking forward to more! Thank you for all the time you have put into this story, 60 chapters is a lot! | |

| So many things in this chapter that I loved. Saddle sore hobbits because Frodo knew they would not have wanted to stop. Pippin having trouble being cooperative because what he wanted was food in his empty belly. Frodo thinking of sending Merry and Pippin back to the Shire then realizing his folly. Gandalf's love of Pippin and Frodo and all the hobbits. All the Elves coming by to check on Pippin. A wonderful, wonderful chapter! Pearl Took | |
