Also I love how Gandalf uses Ulmo's words to Turgon to counsel Denethor. You're really starting to show your skills, and I love every moment of reading your stories. |

As if burning that scroll would in turn destroy the truth it contains. Foolish he is indeed! And he does not perceive that he, thinking to preserve the land and not necessarily the individuals within it, is indeed succumbing to foolishness! Prepare for the worst while hoping for the best and working with what actually comes to you is ever the wisest course.
Author Reply: I think you’re right… but I always imagine Denethor as a control freak and not being able to save or protect what he views as his makes him act foolishly… I know too many people like this… |
