I love the way that Thalion is so stubborn. I also like that he is so emotional over the deaths of his peers. I see this trait reflected in Legolas' concern for his troops, family, and realm. Elf angst is good! Keep up the hard work. I am enjoying myself. Minna Sedh, Hisie Lome

Nice chapter! It was good to see not only more of Legolas, but also more into Thalion's character as well. I agree with Daw that adding in the part with Thalion trying to find his wife's scent adds a great humanity (if that applies to elves. ;)) to the chapter. One question: I'm pretty sure your missing a word (more likely a number) here. "Out of the twelve warriors that had originally started on the mission only remained and two of them were wounded horribly." That caught me up for a few wondering just how many of the twelve were still alive. So if you get a chance to correct that, you might want to. I'm really loving your story and can't wait for the all Legolas chapter. :D I'm definatly a Legolas angst freek. *L*

Oddly enough, what touched me the most in this chapter was Thalion seeking the smell of his wife. They say that smell is very evocative, calling forth deep memories. I can see why he longs for her, given how he is despairing. That's the power of the Nazgul, I think, to drive people to fear and despair and Thalion has been up close. I like the support that Legolas is getting from his fellow warriors, but he's taking quite a battering, poor guy!
