I envy Kaylee and Jennifer for getting to wear such pretty elven dresses. I like that you address personal matters like hygiene or bras, which are important parts of life, without making it inappropriate or dirty. I think if Kevin knew how important Elrond is considered in ME he would be a bit nervous to be called in for a private chat in his study. Also, thank you for replying to my reviews. I have not reviewed much before, but have been reading reviews on some of my favorite stories and I feel excited to be part of that community on SOA. Thanks, atealgirl Author Reply: I'm glad you've joined us here! Our challenge was bringing up those female issues without making it dirty--I'm glad to hear that we succeeded! Yeah, I'm sure you're right about Kevin and Elrond; just as well that he doesn't know who Elrond is, at this point! =) K.G. Author Reply: We thought we should cover some of the issues that would be of concern to a modern child in a seemingly primitive setting. In some ways, we were inspired by Boz4pm's story "Don't Panic" (It's here on SoA, along with its sequel.) But we did not go into nearly as much detail as she did. It's a brilliant story though. I am so glad you have discovered SoA. It's an old-fashioned archive, and I love it that way. It has been my fanfic home since 2004. I hope you will explore some of the other stories here, and check out some of the wonderful authors here like shirebound, Lindelea, Nilmandra, Fiondil, Larner and Budgielover. Dreamflower.

Well, it's a good thing Arwen explained everything! Poor kids, worrying about what will happen to them next. I'm sure Eru/God has plans for them. "In your own world you know me by another name" and all that, right? (Ok, wrong fandom, but still) I'm glad Arwen is looking out for them at least, and now it seems it's time for the kids to find out what Elrond (who is indeed the authority around here!) thinks about what's going on... Author Reply: Yeah, I know the other fandom you're talking about; those were Aslan's words in The Chronicles of Narnia. But those words are quite applicable here, as the children are will discover.

This situation in which outlanders are aware of the stories of Bilbo and Frodo would indeed be worrying to the likes of Gandalf and Elrond. I'm glad neither Jennifer or her brother had seen the full movies, although I myself find the idea appalling! Heh! Author Reply: It's really just as well that they have not! I know that there are those who have written these kinds of stories in which their O.C.s were practically LOTR experts, but I much prefer mine to have no more than a vague idea of what it's all about. Of course, they will end up becoming experts before it's over! =)
