| Lovely snippit again Larner. It is the little things that mean a lot don't they? I thought I wanted to keep my Dad's Police Medal but in the end gave it to my Nephew. Then, unexpectedly, I found his old whistle, (used extensively in pre-mobile phone days,) and that means so much more. I am glad that the knife is a reminder of two such special people. Author Reply: I can see how important the whistle would be for you--a reminder of a more innocent times, I suppose. And the knife indeed is a reminder of two highly unique and important individuals.
