| Lovely story. Did you ever wonder what became of the great record book that Gandalf scooped up? That would make a good story too. Author Reply: Thank you, both for the compliment and the idea. | I think it's great that Gimli returned to Moria to perform this service on behalf of those who died in Moria. Perhaps one day, it'll be safe for his people to return there, but for now, he's right: it would be necessary to spill too much blood to set up a colony there once more, more blood than it would be worth. Perhaps eventually, though, it will be safe to do so, now that the Balrog is dead. This is a great story you've written! Author Reply: Thank you so much for your compliment! | |

| For him, they were persons; they were his people, they were brave and devoted, and behind each there was a life story, full of fighting and love for dwarvish heritage. Yes.
