Hahahaha! So amusing and wellwritten with so much details and skilful descriptions. Funny descriptions also of Bards embarrasments and awkwardsness as a new king. And entertaining about all little paraphernalia that his people think is important except Bard himself! I laughed so hard about the name Mark Pokeberry and mustardyelllow and goldenrod and the parts about Smaugs portrait everywhere!😂 Just to be named Pokeberry and write a book about courtetiquette and customs suggest a whole lot and I think Bard found it ridiculous! I really think your story of Bard fits very well how I imagined him too and I really like him in the Hobbitmovie as well. I have read the Hobbit ofcourse. Your Bard compliments both film and book!Whatever you do for Gods sakes please continue this story!😂❤️❤️ Author Reply: I figure Bard (book or film) doesn't have the benefit of Aragorn's seventy-year practicum in leadership, so he must've learned a lot of his kingly duties by trial and error, he and his family catapulted practically overnight to great fame and exceedingly great wealth. Not to mention, the people of Laketown have an oddly democratic bent for Middle-earth, with elected officials, and wouldn't know any better than Bard what he's supposed to do, besides be rich and act all royal-like. Pretty fertile ground for ridiculous comedic hijinks, lol. It's always so rewarding to hear a reader had a good laugh. Appreciate the review! | |
