So, Aragorn will soon head off on the search for Gollum, which will keep him from home for quite some time. Will he see about the task of preparing for an heir ere he goes, I wonder? All very good questions! *g* I'd imagine that now the immediate threat is over, Aragorn is much more free to feel the other side of his ambivalence, and so keeps putting it off, and putting it off.
