They named the dogs after the Dwarves! :-D This makes me happy ... Author Reply: Thank you! I really enjoyed coming up with those names.

As sweet and Hobbitish a greeting as is possible, and I love the pups' names! My red pup is named Griffin, and is quite the charmer at eight months as of the seventeenth. May this visit be joyful for all of them! Author Reply: Congratulations on a new pup in your family!

I love Gimli’s observations on how all of the hobbits are doing since he visited last. It’s always wonderful to read about a happy Frodo. I’m really enjoying this one. I’m so glad you are still writing. And the darling puppies! Those reminded me of your PipDog. I hope she is well. Give her a scratch behind the ears for me. Author Reply: Thanks, GW! I love seeing the hobbits through the eyes of others, especially when it's a happy time for them all. I'm also glad (and rather amazed) that I'm still writing. I've twice written a "Quarantined" story that I was positive was the end, the VERY END of the series, but... sometimes an idea just scratches at the door until it has to be let in. And speaking of scratches, your scritch-scratch for Ms. PipDog has been delivered, and delightedly received. :) ♥

Such a warm feeling it gave me, Gimli meeting Merry and Pippin, and Sam and Frodo. So much love there! ♥ Author Reply: I can't think of a better compliment! Thank you. :)

Another lovely chapter! I adore the happy reunions and seeing how everyone from the Fellowship is prospering. The names of the dogs and Gimli's reaction was great. Author Reply: Thank you! The Gamgee children have been exposed to so much more than most other hobbits, and have a world of names from which to choose for their pets. Gimli loves 'his hobbits' so much, I know he would be amused by these choices. :)

Oh, Oh...I can't wait! I want more! There are not enough tales of the fellowship in the 4th Age. I am bouncing in anticipation...and I don 't bounce easily, being 68 and fat. (OK if I fell, I'd bounce). I am loving this story. You have a great imagination and a sense of cliff-hangar endings. More, more, more. Author Reply: Thank you for your enthusiasm! I'm so glad you're enjoying this happy little tale. I should be able to get started on chapter 3 in a few days. :) You might also enjoy "The People of the Stars", "Friend Ship", "Starship", and "Healing the Blessed Isle", other 4th Age Fellowship stories I've posted.

This made me so happy. I love the warm welcomes Gimli received and mostly, I love seeing Frodo fully recovered and living happily at Bag End with Sam and his family. Author Reply: This makes me happy, too. Healing, unconditional friendships, well-deserved happily-ever-afters... there's nothing I'd rather write or read about! Thank you so much. :)

What a sweet reunion - great! And thanks again for the searchable Silmarillion. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed these reunions! Gimli traveled a long way, and every moment of his stay in the Shire should be worth the trip.

LOL! So the Gamgee children have named their puppies after Dwarves, have they? That was a surprise I'm sure Gimli didn't anticipate! =) I'm so glad that Frodo Baggins was able to stay and enjoy watching Sam's children grow up. I know that Gimli is glad to see him and Sam again, and Merry and Pippin, too! Author Reply: It really is a joy to be able to imagine this life for Frodo, in which he's part of a large, happy family and is able to continue living in Bag End. And dear Gimli! He's learned, as Gandalf did before him, what amazing and surprising creatures hobbits are... and will always be. Thank you for your kind review. Kathy, will you give Dreamflower regards from me? I think about her so much and hope she's well.
