The hands of the King are hands of healing, and so shall the rightful King be known. And Aragorn is even now the King in anticipation, well served by those who love him, including his dutiful--and loving--wife.
Author Reply: Yeah, Aragorn is positioned as a healer of a lot of things in LOTR, not just the physical injuries, but the spiritual ones, as well, not to mention the repair of the faults of his forebears and healing of the divisions between his people. Someone on my tumblr feed referred to him as the King of Broken Things, and I think that is so apt. |
