A lovely series. I especially appreciated seeing the moon through their eyes, and knowing that Artanis had not succumbed to resentment toward the Valar. Author Reply: Thank you so much Larner, I'm glad you've enjoyed this! The next story is now posted!

Poor Galadriel and Itarille! That lengthy trip was so hard on them--on ALL of them, in fact! Just traveling to the North or South Pole with dogsleds and all the necessary equipment is hard enough. What they all went through before they reached their destination doesn't even bear considering! Author Reply: That's so true KathyG!! I can't even imagine going to the North or South Pole, never mind what all the Exiles must have been through. *shiver* Definitely poor Galadriel, Itarille (Idril) and everyone else. <3

All these vignettes are so worthy of their own stories. I enjoyed them a lot, and made disappointed moans when there was no "next chapter". Of course I knew at the outset that these would be mere windows, a peek through veiling curtains. Thank you. Author Reply: Don't worry! There will be a "next chapter" before long. This gets updated once a month with my entries from the Teitho writing contest. The next tale, "Their Hour Was Not Yet Come", will be structured rather like this one, though it wasn't written for tolkien-weekly. It's more of a tale-within-a-tale. I hope you will enjoy it!
