| Ferdi is being clever here, managing Pippin quite well. Yes, Pip and Merry would need one another in March. Author Reply: It's interesting to see their roles reversing. | Lindelea! It was moving to see Pippin affected by his memories of the Ring War. That much trauma was bound to effect he, Merry and Sam maybe not as much as Frodo but enough so that Pippin has to visit Merry every March. I love the idea of retracing the footsteps.
