| I enjoyed seeing the meeting of the Avari leaders. It was good to finally hear why they had formed an alliance with the wood elves, and what would motivate them to keep or break that alliance. On the personal side, though, I think we get a good understanding of exactly why the Sacrifice is called the Sacrifice. It is apparently a literal term, and suddenly it seems that for Rhinure, there is no good end. And if that is true for Rhinure, I guess it is also true for Legolas. Her position is truly tough, and it seems we have to hope that these two truly fall in love for that may be what helps them personally survive. I think...I keep changing my mind depending on what angle I look! Author Reply: I hope every day that Rhinure and Legolas fall in love and every day my muse makes me write something that makes me shudder. I am working on it but sometimes my characters just decided to take matters into their own hands. I have started to dream about this fic. Must go to see a therapist. | |

| How wonderful to see an update from you, Fan! Poor Rhinure. This chapter makes clear just how difficult her position is. I am annoyed by all these people who are willing to "sacrifice" her for these lost kin. Life is already hard enough without making rules to make it harder. Author Reply: I am very annoyed with these people as well. I have retribution planned for Cothion at least. Am working on the rest. And don't worry - too much. Rhinure is not going to go down so easily. *fingers crossed* | |
