I've just caught up this story and like it greatly. I am only an occasional visitor to SoA and although I suspect I've seen this before, I've never dug in as it were. You have a great plot and excellent characters. Serai is a tremendous addition to the "inner circle" and a very sympathetic/sympathy driving force. The plot is well constructed and I'm curious to see what their reason for their actions was though obviously power is a huge factor. I will remember this fic and watch for future chapters when they arrive. Thank you very much for your hard work on this, I look forward to future installments. |

Yea!! *** clapping hands happily" so glad you are still writing and that this story is continuing. It is/was one of my favorites. Now you left us with a cliffee I'm excited to see who wanted Aragorn dethroned so bad as to incur the elves wrath (not to mention Gimili, lol)

Hooray! You are back! We wonders, doesn't we Precious, if your returning to writing has something in common with Lindalea's "stuck at home due to coronavirus with more time on my hands" blues. This year will certainly be a story to be told down the ages of our own culture. So, we pick up where we left off. Seldar and Luinloth. Only now they are on Elven turf, not mortal. I hope that Seldar will not suffer the fate of the prisoners who were killed under the Citadel's very noses. And I am glad he has chosen the path of the light. I figured out what story he was told when, "the Hobbit sailed to the Undying Lands with Elrond...and his nephew". So, Luinloth was born in Doriath? It is mindboggling to think of all of the history Tolkien's elves would have seen! And you have echoed Sam's comment to Faramir about asking the servants, because people do not notice them. It seems, some of those servant's erring Lords have learned the value of not being noticed, as well. I hope that you are able to continue for a while, now. I will be anxiously waiting! |
