| In my stories Frodo and Sam are taken via the river to the Harlonds. I am glad that they are using barges and boats for the worst wounded. A good thing to have such transit. It will be hard for Joey to return to our world and know the lack of responsibility that has been the making of him here. And to know that he has always had access to fruits and foods no matter the season that aren't available in such ways here in Middle Earth would indeed be a sobering thought. At last--on their way to reunion with their family! Author Reply: Yes, that IS a good way, isn't it? I suspect you're right about Joey. Back in Portland, his responsibilities will once more be mainly school and chores. Nothing like the responsibilities he's carried in Middle-earth! =) Yep--that reunion is now approaching! K.G. | |
