| It sounds as if they are as prepared as they can be, given the circumstances. Using the torches as weapons and distractions is also a good idea, considering they are fighting orcs. | Durin is the best kind of leader -- strategic and decisive, but wise enough to ask for -- and take -- advice from trusted colleagues. Author Reply: I hope people won't start to see him as some sort of Mary Sue. :) As for that, I'll say - yes, he is wise, but not infallible. Oh yes, he can (and will) make a big mistake... | |
