Nurayy!! Hello! I love this piece! I can imagine Eowyn as I am writing her having this conversation with Miaddar. Love it. Eowyn still has her spirit though she can't display that to those closest to her for fear or upsetting them. You write the relationship between the two women so well. Thank you! Hope you are well! ((virtual hug)) MM Author Reply: Dear Mirkwoodmaiden. So nice to get this surprise comment on this earlier posted chapter. I'm so glad you liked how I showed Eowyn. I wanted them to be friends, and I'm so glad you can imagine them interacting. I found it fitting to have this strange start of their friendship, with Mîaddar getting to know Éowyn's fierce nature from beginning. Your comment means much, also as you are a great fan of Éowyn. So glad to have captured her well in your eyes. Be well

It might indeed be difficult, after decades and centuries and millennia, to experience so much loss and still retain --or seek -- a sense of destiny and purpose. Nicely done. Author Reply: Thank you, shirebound, for your lovely comment. I'm glad you liked my take on that weariness. And for me, Éowyn beside her is such a strong contrast. I love Éowyn, her youth, her fierceness, her dream, her passion. But I also love this depressed elleth. Both strong female characters, but so different.
