| Nurayy! You have outdone yourself with this story. Your characters are always so brightly drawn but these characters glitter with real emotion invested in their actions. "his mighty war-axe lying carelessly abandoned on the stone floor a few yards away." I love this phrase. If you know anything about Gimli and any Dwarf you know their axes are highly valued to them and for it to lay carelessly abandoned speaks to the depths of Gimli pain and concern for his friend. I love how Sorwyn states that those others are trying to shield her she already knows her innocence is gone. A tragic truth of war. I love how she interacts with the grown ups we all know and love. Aragorn's warmth to a frightened and worried child is wonderful. He is honest and empathetic. Gimli's warm eyes and Eowyn's demeanor are wonderfully wrought! Thank you for this! Be Safe! I am so fond of Sorwyn, and I so feel for her, and with her. Yes; dear, good Gimli worries so much about his elf, and the lad gives him plenty of reason. In the chapters of CbtW you have not yet reached there will be more worry for our dwarf. And I always love to write Eowyn. There will be more of her still. She has a main part in the last chapter I posted in CbtW which I decided to post here also. I wonder what your thoughts will be on those last two chapters... whenever you get time.
