Hmm. Perhaps I should try starting my morning with mulled wine. (Sigh. I don't have a warrior's metabolism, much less that of a shield maiden. So, perhaps not.) Orcs travelling by daylight sounds ominous. A befuddled Lab sounds so cute! (But I'm worried about Éowyn with her brother and cousin gone.) Bless Holdlith and her wisdom.

What a dreadful time for all of them. I appreciate how you're showing the bond and trust between brother and sister, and it's a blessing that Éowyn has Holdith with whom to share her deepest fears. Author Reply: Shirebound! So happy as always to see your words! Yeah...this is a tough time for all involved and it is going to worse before it gets better for Eomer and Eowyn. *sigh* I am glad the strong bond shows between them. I too am glad that Eowyn has Holdith. We all need someone we can open up to. Thanks for taking the time to write. It means so much to me! Be well! Stay safe! ((hugs)) MM.

Yes the light that we know will come is making it all more bearable for us to read or to write. Nevertheless I love reading and writing the tragedy. It stirs so many feelings and in a way it is making the light when it comes even brighter. These extremes are enhancing each other and make it so intense. I love that. Author Reply: Nurayy! Hello! I know exactly what you mean. Before the pandemic hit I wrote many angst-ridden stories. During the height of the pandemic I wrote only stories where my characters were happy. Now is kind of a halfway between the two. LOL. Writing is as always a fascinating process. Stay safe, be well! ((hugs)) MM
