For five months of our world, Legolas has hung in fevered dreams. But through your "pen" and eyes we move through his pain and nightmares. But even in his drifting state, we can still follow the goings on with his friends. We see him leaving pain behind and turning to the call of the sea, and it must have been the moments when his friends were saying that he was fading. But as yet the connection to his friends is stronger than the pull of peace and death! He remembers his Father, and Estel, and even considers the grief of "the dwarf" is he should slip away. He turns his back on the call of the sea and peace, and fights his way back enough to awaken to the sight of Estel's gray, relieved face. Brilliantly well done! Here's wishing you good luck and good times in your corner of Real Life, and a hope that you will be able to continue this journey with us sometime. The imagery of fever hot, cool woods, cool peaceful sea and the haunting call of the gulls is beautiful! |
