| (It may be too late to post a comment here, but I keep rereading my favorite parts of this story, so here goes...) I love your description of Elrond as having a "kind and beautiful" spirit in spite of all the sorrow he has endured in his long life, but I would have thought it was totally out of character for him to get so angry with Maglor in a later chapter if he hadn't have felt so guilty about it afterward. At least his wife was there to help him come to terms with it. Author Reply: Thank you; I am very glad and flattered you like the story enough to reread it! :-)) It was out of character, but I think everyone, even the kindest and noblest person, has a breaking point. And it was a chance for Celebrian to give some of her thoughts on the whole situation. :) | |
