| Nice mix of Men and hobbits, and what their lives would have been like during the Watchful Peace. Even a Wizard and a... well, whatever Tom Bombadil is ;) I like the way you put it all into historical context at the end -- and meticulously true to canon, too. Author Reply: Thanks for your kind words and interest. You might like another work I published on Stories of Arda. It's called Dol Guldur, published in September and October of 2018. The story of the expulsion of Sauron from Dol Guldur by Gandalf in T.A. 2063, which started the Watchful Peace. He is assisted by two Dunedain (Aranarth, first chieftain, and his son Arahael), Haldir of Lorien, Aranarth's two brothers, and Hagar, the grandson of Fram, of the Eotheod. Radagast is also featured as is the Steward of Gondor, Mardil, his son Eradan and feisty daughter Adrianna. | |
