| I've been away for a while and just now got the chance to get caught up again on this story--what a treat. I love the way you're drawing everything out, making things not go as smoothly or perfect as they could, the disapproval of the parents, the backstory on Diamond's condition, etc. It's very interesting to read and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out. As always, my favorite part is how you manage to keep Pippin's sense of humor and the way he talks--that makes it feel very in character and real to me and isn't easy to do. Also, have to say I love Pippin musing over what Faramir would say in his situation--you never really see the closeness of those two characters portrayed in stories, but I imagine it must have been there, based off their past and the fact that Pippin names his son after him and all. Anyway, sorry to babble, but I'm really loving this story and can't wait for the next chapter. Good Job! :) Author Reply: Wow, thank you! It's always great to hear from authors who write the characters so wonderfully themselves. I'm very glad you're liking how I'm writing Pippin - I wanted to show him as being older (since he's of age now), but as still being the same Fool of a Took we all know and love. Fan fic romances can be difficult in showing that, so I'm glad you think I'm doing a good job. :) And yeah, I wanted to show a bit of the relationship between Pippin and Faramir (well, as much as I could of it, anyway, seeing as how Faramir's doesn't have an active role in the story). The "what would Faramir do?" thing will probably come into play a few more times throughout the story. ;) Thanks again for your feedback! | |

| There's always so much time between updates, and yet the chapters are always so good, I don't know whether to complain or congratulate you. :) Another wonderful chapter and I'm glad they both overcame their reluctance to speak. . . finally. :) Keep up the good work.
