| The people are so fortunate to have her. But it must be very difficult to watch Theoden’s decline, especially with her brother gone. As long as she just keeps putting one foot in front of the other… Author Reply: PSW! Yup! These are the really troublesome years that Eowyn's life is entering that will culminate with her wanting to die in battle on the Pelannor because she thinks there is nothing left for her. As I write these chapters I keep telling myself she will end happily with Faramir! :-D Writing Theoden's slow decline has been something of a challenge but that is also the fun and challenge of gap filling fanfic!!
