Author Reply: It's not the only convention I use in the story, but I hope a good plot and characterization make up for some of that. This story was begun in 2003, so fans hadn't picked up on quite so many standard devices yet. | |

| Well Met! I just left fanfiction.net, on a lark, hoping that you have updated here. The Valar are kind! So far I love the tale and look forward to more. I have alread left reviews at the other site.... I have one more thing to add. I like how your elves are different than humans. Often, this is not the case. Yours seem to have a differnt "age" or sence of time about them. Quite nice. Again, Minna Sedh, Hisie Lome P.S. Do you prefer one site or update more often at one particular place? Thanks Author Reply: Yes, Stories of Arda will always be updated first, and I'm planning to update before too long. Thanks for your reviews - I have been enjoying them. I'm glad you thought "Glorfindel Fair" was funny and that you have been enjoying "Light in May." I've tried hard to echo Tolkien in making Elves different from Men, and even highlighting a few differences between Elves of different regions, so I love it when people notice. | |

| Since I normally don't read fics with young Estel, I don't know if I'm one to judge, but this is *very*, very good. I love the mood set from the begining and your Elves are kept very in check.
