| Aragorn, crashing to the floor half awake and entangled in a bedsheet would be an ... how shall I put it ... 'interesting sight to behold' *big grin*. Though your that latest chapter took a definite turn to the darker side after that rather amusing opening. Killing Frodo as a last resort is an option that cannot be ruled out at that point. Though, as Aragorn's no doubt numerous bruises from various Hobbit-kicks and -punches prove, planning such a course of action and acting according to it are two different things entirely, at least as long as Frodo's friends remain in the same room as Frodo. Their stand against Aragorn was a valiant deed! Using the Ring as a last means to restore Frodo's strength is a two-edged affair. While it undoubtetly helps to improve Frodo's health, it might well speed up the Ring's influence upon him. | |

| That is really an interesting spin on things, that the Ring be the thing that could save Frodo yet it also will practically be bound to him if he wears it! I liked how you wrote all the hobbits attacking Aragorn in Frodo's "defence" at least as far as they understood it! Quite a sad chapter, you did it wonderfully!
