| Is there any way of fanfiction authors who feel up to the challenge to take possession of Barbara's stories so they can finish her WIPS? Of course, that will mean taking into careful account Barbara's vision, her fanon, and writing according to her vision for Middle-earth. I hope that someone will step forward and volunteer, and that the person will be permitted access to her account. Otherwise, Barbara's works in progress will remain forever unfinished, and I would so hate for that to happen. | |

| Thank you for sharing this sad news. I have thought about Dreamflower often since I lost contact with her. We worked together a fair bit when the Middle-Earth Fanfiction Awards were running and she was a faithful commenter on many of my stories. I am sad to hear this news but grateful for her life. I shall reread some of my favorites of her stories in celebration of all she shared with us. | |
