| I'm so glad to see this story here. I've been enjoying it at ff.net and I like seeing it again. Author Reply: This is such a great site that I'm very happy for a chance to post here. Thanks so much for the review on this site, even though you must have first read this chapter ages ago. (Did you notice any changes? I rewrote part of it to clear up the issue that the rangers would have known who Aragorn was). Still feverishly working on the next chapter and plan to get it out before Christmas. | Hi FirstMate! I've been following this story at ffn (okay, I admit it: lurking!), due to a recommendation from Jay of Lasgalen. This is a *terrific* story! I got pulled in right from the first chapter -- and I don't usually enjoy anything with violence. Your characterizations just seem so real to me. Frankly, if this is your first story, I can't wait to see what else comes from your pen in the future... Glad to see you're putting it up at SOA, where it is much easier to review stories.
